It's April, I went to Meixco and I'm dreaming of gardens!

Hello lovely readers of my blog! I took a little hiatus and went to MEXICO last week! As you know I love to travel so it was very exciting to explore a tiny party of Mexico: a country I have never been before.  This post will be a few pics from the trip as well as other random things that are going on/inspiring me right now!

1. MEXICO - I loved it! I stayed at an all inclusive for 1 week with Kevin and the Morrison family (my lovely bosses/wonderful friends!) I have never lived it up all inclusive style before and I have to say I enjoyed it.  The ease of not having to think much while on vacation is a nice concept when you truly want to RELAX! Everything is taken care of for you- food, drinks etc.  Don't get me wrong I do still enjoy adventurous and spontaneous holidays where you are winging it and are unsure what the day will bring however I would go back to an all inclusive again for an "easy" holiday if the situation presented itself.

Mexican food is one of my favourites and the resort had an amazing selection of fresh, delicious Mexican dishes! I loved the people and would defiantly go back to Meixco in the future to experience more.

See that thing out in the ocean? It's a WHALE! We were pumped to have this amazing
sighting while on a snorkelling trip in Banderas Bay. A mom and two calves were
swimming near the shore and we got to watch in awe as they played around in the
ocean for about 20 minutes and best of all saw the mother whale breach!!

2. I saw Jian Ghomeshi (Q) live in Winnipeg! My favorite radio program and host! I joke he is my man voice crush because his voice is just so smooth and soothing! It was thrill for me to experience a live show in Winnipeg at the Burton Cummings Theatre.  We got to see interviews with Randy Bachman, Jennifer Jones Gold Medal Curling team, Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida and Tegan & Sara performed!
I think he's looking directly at me in the picture ;)

3. I am dreaming of a warm summer evening spent sipping a glass of wine in a cozy chair in my yard!  My yard could use some work and here are some pictures that are inspiring me.

I just want to be surrounded by flowers and vegetation!

  1. Your pictures from Mexico look so amazing!

I'm also dying to have a garden and do some yard work around here...I hear we're getting a fence this summer though...so I might have to wait until next year.
